1940年11月14日のコベントリー爆撃を追悼するため、今年もコベントリーの日の集いを開催しました。	ジョンさんと吉野さんを追悼し黙祷しました。	コベントリー市長からのメッセージと広島市長からのメッセージが司会者より紹介されました。	展示写真
We held annual Coventry Day gathering to remember the victims of the Coventry Blitz on 14th November in 1940.	We offered a moment of silence in memory of Mr John Hartley and Mrs Hideko Yoshino.	Messages from the Lord Mayor of Coventry and the Mayor of Hiroshima were introduced　by mcs.	Displayed pictures
コベントリーの歴史、戦争と爆撃、「和解と平和」広島とコベントリーの繋がり,などのお話を聞いていただきました。コベントリーの日の意味がよくわかったとの声を頂きました。	コベントリー爆撃の犠牲者を追悼し、黙祷を献げました。	WFCクワイヤーと「世界の命＝広島の心」を歌おうよ、の会による歌、「世界の命＝広島の心」は、私たちの、二度と非人道的な戦争を繰り返してはならないという決意が表れているようでした。	WFC館長の一人、マラカイネルソンさんによるウクレレ演奏と歌。「スタンド・バイ・ミー」。素敵でした。
A member of Coventry Club talked over Coventry's history, war and blitz, Peace and Reconciliation, and connexction between Coventry and Hiroshima. Some people who joined us today for the first time said they understand the meaning of Coventry Day very well.	We observed a moment's silence to mourn the victims of the Coventry Blitz.	The song, "The Life of the World=The Heart of Hiroshima" echoed as if to show our determination not to repeat inhuman wars. It was sang by the WFC Choir, and a group to sing a song, "The Life of the World=The Heart of Hiroshima."	One of the two directors of the World Friendship Center, Mr Malachi Nelson sang a song, Stand By Me, to his Uklele, which was so timely and cool.
WFCマラカイ・ネルソン館長とマシュー・ベイトマン館長から興味深いお話と大切なメッセージを頂きました。	コベントリー会の過去一年の活動を紹介致しました。	協創中学校生徒による平和学習と実践の発表がありました。内容・発表の仕方、ともに参加者の賞賛を浴びました。	賀茂北高校の先生が学校紹介をしてくださり、 生徒さんがAntonyOwenの「「青いトマト」と「本川小学校」の2篇を英語で落ち着いて朗読してくださいました。
WFC directors, Mr Malakai Nelson and Mr Mathew Baeman, gave us interesting stories and important messages.	Talking about Coventry club's activities during the past one year.	Students of Kyoso Junior High School presented their peace study and peae activities.The contents of their presentation and their attitude were admired by audience.	A teacher introduced us Kamokita High School and the student recited two poems from Antony Owen, Green Tomato and Honkawa School i in a calm attitude in English.
アンサンブル花音の演奏に合わせて、来場者も「アオギリの歌」や「エーデルワイス」を気持ちよく歌いました。	段原中学校美術部制作のアニメ「その時」を上映してくださいました。美術部でいろいろな平和活動に前向きに取り組んでおられます。	特別プログラムのゲストは、朗読グループ「パイル」です。原爆詩を美しい英語と美しい日本語の両方で朗読してくださいました。被爆者の悲しみと苦しみが私たちの心に深くしみこみました。
Thanks to Ensemble Kanon's nice performance, the audience sang " Song of Aogiri," "Edelwais," and "Paper Cranes" along with them.	Art club students of Danbara Junior High School showed us "The moment" of their own making, which dipicts the moment of the A-bombing.They are positively doing peace activities.	The guests for today's special program was a reading group, PILE. They recited A-bomb poetry both in beautiful English and beautiful Japanese. Sadness and haradship that A-bomb srvivors went through were deeply penetrated our hearts.
