2019国際フェスタに参加 11月17日　広島国際会議場 Took part in the 2019 International Fest At International Convention Center Hiroshima

コベントリー市紹介と展示、コベントリー会の活動紹介をしました。 We displayed pictures and introduced the city of Coventry and activities of Hiroshima Coventry Club to the comers.

コベントリー市より来客 Guests from Coventry		10月15，16日 15/16th October
コベントリー市長による平和と和解委員会の局長であるデービッド・フィッシュ市が来日。平和公園と宮島をご案内しました。 Mr David Fish, Secretary of the Coventry Lord Mayor's Committee for Peace and Reconciliation, visited Hiroshima. We showed around Peace Park and Miyajima.

第14回コベントリーの日の集い The 14th Coventry Cay Meeting		10月6日　広島市留学生会館にて6th October At Hiroshima City International House
1940年11月14日コベントリー市はドイツ軍による大爆撃を受けました。しかし、その直後から「報復ではなく、和解と平和を」と訴えてきたコベントリー市の心を広めるために、コベントリー会では毎年「コベントリーの日の集い」を開催しています。 14th November, 1940, the city of Coventry was flattened ground zero by German army's bombing. Just after the Blitz, Coventry called for "not retaliation but for peace and reconciliation." Hiroshima Coventry Club holds "Coventry Day Meeting"every year to spread the spirits of Peace and Reconciliation.

賀茂北高校にて出張講座～英国を知ろう Short lecture at Kamokita High School	9月27日 27th September	コベントリー市のウィトレー・アカデミーと姉妹校提携している賀茂北高校でコベントリー市と英国の話をさせていただきました。  Talked about theUK and City of Coventry at Kamokita High School which is a sister school with Whitley Accademy in Coventry.
カリフベク・クユコフ氏に手紙を送る Sent letters to Mr Karipbek Kuyukov 　　 (artist in Kazaphstan)	9月19日 19th September	クユコフ氏はチェルノブイリの被爆2世。生まれつきの障害を克服し、画家として活躍中。核兵器廃絶運動にも深く関わっておられます。。コベントリーの詩人アントニー・オーエン氏の紹介で､広島の被爆者と被爆2世の二人から連帯の手紙を送らせていただきました。 Mr Kuyukov's parents were from Chernobyl. He, overcoming handycaps and became a great artist. At the same time he works for nuclear disarmament. Mr Antony Owen, a Coventry-based poet, introduced him to us. A survivor and a second generation of the A-boming of Hiroshima sent letters of solidarity to Mr Kuyukov.
英国CND ソールズベリーへ広島市長メッセージを届ける。 A message from the Mayor of Hirosima to CND Salisbury (UK)	8月6日 6th August	英国のCNDソールズベリーは毎年8月6日にろうそく流しを行っています。今年は広島市長のメッセージを届けさせていただきました。 CND Salisbury has held annual Candle Float on 6th August every year. We sent them a message from the Mayor of Hiroshima this year.
