学生時代から始まったアジア各地への放浪の旅で、私は人々の優しさや情などに数多く触れていくうちに、いつしか、アジアの人達の素顔をフィルムに残したいと思うようになりました。「どうしてアジアなのか？」と、良く周りの人から聞かれる事がありますが、それは、子供から老人まで、普通の人々がいつも屈託のない暖かな笑顔で迎えてくれるから、そして、そんな人々と接していると、自分自身も自然と穏やかな気持ちになれるからです。もし、アジアのどこかで私を見掛ける事があったら、是非声を掛けてみて下さい。そこにはきっと笑顔の私が居る筈です。

It's a time of my being a university student that I came to travel for Asian countries. Through this trip that still continues, I know the brawniness of Asian people and came to have even the feeling of respect, and I came to think that it will leave the actual state of Asian people with such the heart kind into the photographes. "Why Asia ?" - it was asked to me from many friends in this way. It's because the great smiles always exists in Asia, and I will also get used to nature and a quiet feeling passing under such circumstances. Please say hello, if you may see me in somewhere of Asia.
