Version 4 series is the Serial Port Monitor and Analyzer
                                        based on .NET Framework 2

The overview of the features of the Version 4 series is as follows.

Supply of the application which old Windows PC can be utilized

The development environment of the application which works on Windows evolves as follows as of July, 2023 already.

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (4.8.x)

And Microsoft has finished supporting Windows one after another.

• Windows XP:         April 8th, 2014
• Windows Vista:      April 11th, 2017
• Windows 8:           January 13th, 2016
• Windows 7:           January 14th, 2020
• Windows 8.1         January 10th, 2023

Windows which are being supported in Microsoft are only 2 kinds of following.

• Windows 10         Until October 14th, 2025
• Windows 11         24 months (or 36 months) after the provision of feature updates

But we have continued development of application software by the following former development platform to meet the request with "Actuation support on the former version of Windows is necessary!" from many customers.

                Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (Visual Studio 2008 was used for only a setup project.)

Even if you're out of support for a former OS PC, there are still plenty of PCs you can use if you're careful about security and run offline.

*Note: Visual Studio 2019 and 2022 are very annoying because they unliterally impose rules such as formatting. And it doesn't suit us. So, with this release, we used Visual Studio 2017.


User ID can be used continuously

Official user can upgrade to the latest Serial Port Monitor and Analyzer by using present License (User ID).

A future new official user can use former version, too.

There are also the reliable points when you use the Serial Port Monitor and Analyzer.

*Note: In the future, when the Model Number (AKM-RSM-100) of the Serial Port Monitor and Analyzer changes, the purchase of the license may be necessary again as another product.

However, authentication mechanism by handling the User ID was changed in November 16th, 2019.
Therefore, future correspondence becomes the bottom table by the purchase time of the User ID.
