I was glad when they said unto me: We will go，into the house of the Lord. For thither the tribes go up， ev'n the tribes of the Lord: to testify unto Israel，and to give thanks unto the Name of the Lord. For there is the seat of judgement: even the seat of the house of David. O pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls: and plenteousness within thy palaces. Glory be to the Father，and to the Son， and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning， is now and ever shall be，world without end. Amen. |

旧約聖書「詩篇」の第122章より 最初の２行が122-1、次の節が122-4〜6、最後の節はこれとは別のキリスト教で一般に用いられる祈祷文（頌栄）です。
