The red-ribb'd ledges drip with a silent horror of blood，
An Echo there，whatever is ask'd her，answers “Death.”

野の上のその唇は血の赤さの茂みで洗われている
その赤い骨の飾りは　血の静かな恐怖をしたたらせ
そこではこだまは　何を尋ねようと　答えるのだ「死」と
