How sweet is the Shepherd's sweet lot! From the morn to the evening he strays; He shall follow his sheep all the day， And his tongue shall be fillèd with praise. For he hears the lamb's innocent call， And he hears the ewe's tender reply; He is watchful while they are in peace， For they know when their Shepherd is nigh. |
なんて素敵なんだ、羊飼いの持ち場は！ 朝から晩まで彼は歩き回る 一日中羊たちについて歩き 彼の口からは賛美のことばしか聞かれないのだ だって子羊の無邪気な鳴き声が聴こえるし 母羊が優しくそれに答えているのも聴こえるのだから 彼は羊たちがいつも満ち足りているかどうか見守る 羊たちは知っているから、羊飼いがそばにいるのだと |
