Light hath come amidst all lights the fairest， Born is the brightness of the day. Night hath fled for the sun’s uprising， Greet ye the birthplace of morn. Now she throws away her veil of darkness From the borders of the sky. See，she cometh with horse and chariot， Waken world and greet the dawn. Night hath now yielded up her dwelling For her fairer sister day. Akin they travel th’eternal pathway， Never clashing on their road. Child of heav’n in shining raiment， Blushing maiden draw thou near. Sovran lady of all earth’s treasure， Come then，reign for us now. First of endless dawns to come hereafter， Follow those that now have gone. Make a path for the sun’s bright journey， Bring us now to our life once more. Parent thou of gods and noble heroes， Thou eternity’s great sign. Pour thy blessing on those that bring thee Praise and worship for evermore. |
光は来たり すべての光の中で最も美しく 生まれるのは昼の明るさ 夜は逃げ出した 太陽の上昇のため そなたを迎える 朝の発祥の地を 今 彼女は捨て去る 暗闇のベールを 空の境界から 見よ 彼女が来る 馬や馬車と共に 世界は目覚め 夜明けを迎える 夜は今や譲り渡す その住み家を 自らのより美しき姉妹の昼に 共に 彼女らは永遠の道を旅し 決して衝突することはない 道の上で 輝く衣の天の子 顔を赤らめた乙女がそなたを引き寄せる すべての地球の宝である至高の女性よ 来たれ 君臨せよ われらのために今 これから来る無限の夜明けの最初のものが 従って来る 今行ってしまったものに 道を作るのだ 太陽の明るい旅のため われらにもたらし給え 今われらの生にもう一度 神々と高貴な英雄たちの親たるそなた そなたは永遠の偉大なる徴なのだ 注ぎ給え そなたの祝福を そなたにもたらすものの上に 永遠の賛美と礼拝を |
