　脚の筋肉が緊縮する。力んだために、水中で頬が赤く鬱血した。

　突然、そのつもりはないのに気泡が綾の唇から漏れた。

　綾は、思わず片手で口を塞いだ。そういえば、もうずいぶん長いこと息をしていない。

Aya placed her head and her palms against the hatch's closed lid, slid her feet onto the emergency ladder, and pushed up hard.
It did not budge.

The muscles in her legs contracted and her cheeks reddened from the strain.
"Glub""Gluuup"
Unknowingly, Aya's lips let out bubbles of precious air.
"Yikes," she covered her mouth with her palm, alarmed. "M-maybe I am overdoing it."

英文あらすじ（Synopsis）：

Aya continues to go down, enjoying the growing pressure of the deep blue squeeze her limbs and abdomen. Finally, her hand scrapes the sands on the ocean floor, and she swims back into the ship's lower deck through a rupture in its hull. Nonchalantly, she makes her way through many halls and corridors, and then - finds herself stuck. The hatch that leads back to the tween deck and to the air-pocket is jammed shut.

"Strange, it was not like this before," Aya wonders. After all, it must be the rust.
