Shocking news says a dead and alive cat brought by Schrödinger in 1935 was finally caught and saved ! Is this true or just fake news ?
Unfortunately, this is fake news. Physicists waste time in these nonsense experiments.
Quantum mechanics claims each atom can be in two different states at the same time like a dead and alive cat living in parallel worlds.
Of course, we cannot observe these fantasied cat or parallel worlds.
They say this cat becomes dead or alive when we observe it. ← nonsense excuse.
In this experiment, they use "artificial atom" made from classical circuit ( this p.4 ) which can generate several discrete stable energy levels, mimics real atoms.
And this experiment just caught the signals (= emitted light, Not a cat ! ) that each atom changes into one state just before it occurred.
Two states of an atom = a dead and alive cat. Just before this cat (= atom ) changes into a dead state, Yale physicists caught this warning signal and saved it ?
Where is a cat ? This experiment has nothing to do with a fantasy cat, of course useless.

This news just uses vague phrases "breaking symmetry ?", which means useless experiment.
"Time-symmetry" in quantum mechanics is unreal, it means when they reverse the direction of time using time machine and spin rotates in the opposite direction, the whole state is unchanged ?
Why do physicists believe this nonphysical fiction ?
Because the current quantum physics lacks reality from the beginning.
It can only describe each particle as nonphysical math object without real figure.
They needed to fabricate "imaginary target" to develop this unreal theory.
One of this imaginary targets is "time reversal symmetry", which can Not actually reverse time using time machine.
They just introduced artificial nonphysical equation which is unchanged even when the time t is reversed, which has nothing to do with our real world.
This experiment just tried to apply this artificial model (= time symmetry ) to some nitrogen atom interacting with light by force ( this p.4 ).
So useless experiment, just a waste of time and money.

Quantum internet, network, communication ? ... The media is always full of such "quantum" fake news.
"Quantum internet" is a vague term. It is still in its infancy, exaggerated by the media, and has many shortcomings using an unreal light particle = photon.
The media and academia deliberately use misleading phrases to make laypersons and governments falsely believe that the current quantum physics is useful with great progress, though No progress actually.
This news just uses vague phrases "move a step closer ?" ← still useless. How many "steps" are needed !? Infinite steps ?
This news just says "gets a boost from breakthrough ?", does Not say this technology becomes useful in this experiment, so meaningless research, too.
This article is a poem, rather than science news, just says about pie-in-the-sky rosy future "these devices will have far-superior capabilities ?" ← Dream on ! Still useless.
