Quantum computers are useless
(Fig.1) Today's useless quantum computers cannot factor even 21, much less calculate molecular energy.

Today's useless error-prone quantum computers cannot factor even simple 21, let alone calculate molecular energy, contrary to overhyped fake news (= all of which were calculated by ordinary classical computers ).
The 3rd-paragraph of this recent hyped news (2/2026) says
"A new approach to overcome a critical limitation hindering the progress of quantum computing for complex chemical simulations has been demonstrated. The unitary coupled cluster (UCC) algorithm (= just choosing fake solutions for unsolvable Schrodinger equation ), a promising (= still useless ) method for calculating molecular energies on quantum computers"
↑ This research paper's p.2-2nd-paragraph says (= this-last-link ) -- Only classical computers used
"In this work, we focus our calculations on classical machines with systems that can be solved via full
configuration interaction (FCI) calculations"
↑ So this research on the alleged quantum computer' molecular energy calculation used only a classical computer instead of the useless quantum computer after all.
Another hyped news (2/2026) on workable quantum computer ↓
1st-paragraph says -- Only classical computer used
"A team of researchers.. used a series of supercomputer simulations (= classical computer was used ) to reduce the uncertainty of obtaining information from quantum dots"
2nd-paragraph says -- Today's fake quantum computer
"Today's quantum computers, on the other hand, are based on only dozens of qubits. Experts estimate that it’ll take about a million qubits to power a true quantum computer. Which is a tall order today."
↑ Today's quantum computers are fake computers, which cannot calculate anything nor outperform classical computers
Today's quantum computers are fake, fraudulent, useless, cannot factor even the simplest 21, so it is impossible for these fake quantum computers to calculate some atomic energy, contrary a lot of overhyped news..
This recent hyped news says ↓
1st-paragraph says -- Hyped quantum calculation
"The team successfully models the ground state energies of nuclei including oxygen, calcium and nickel on a trapped-ion quantum computer with unprecedented accuracy, achieving errors below one percent."
2nd-paragraph says -- Classical computer used
"This research details a method for calculating the binding energies of nuclei using Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE = hybrid classical-quantum computer method, which is actually done only a classical computer )"
Last-paragraph says -- No quantum computer advantage
"The results closely match (= did Not outperform ) those obtained from traditional, noise-free simulations (= noise-free = errorless simulators are just classical computers, this-p.5-right-last-paragraph )"
↑ This research paper ( this-last- link ) in 2026 ↓
p.5-Fig.2 used only 6 qubits (= one qubit can take only 0 or 1 values, so this is still Not a quantum computer nor able to calculate atomic nuclei, contrary to the above hyped news )
p.6-right-E says -- Impractical ion qubits
"We now describe the quantum hardware used in this work.
The Reimei is based on Quantinuum’s H-1 series trapped-ion
quantum computer, and has 20 qubits (= still far from millions of qubits required for a practical quantum computer )"
" including noise-free state vector
simulators (=
classical computers ), emulators, and real devices"
p.8-Table IV says -- Error-prone quantum computer
"ideal pUCCD are classical (= classical computer ) results....
Rel. error columns show the absolute value of the
relative error of the hardware (= error-prone quantum computer ) results to the ideal pUCCD results" ← So this fake quantum computer with just 6 qubits always gave wrong values with some errors compared to the ideal errorless (= noise-free ) classical computer.
p.9-right-2nd-paragraph says -- Classical computer needed
"While the pUCCD parameters in this work were optimized on classical simulators," ← energy parameters were optimized by a classical computer (= Not quantum computer ) after all.
p.9-right-2nd-paragraph says -- No quantum computer advantage
"Optimization for classically intractable systems remains an open challenge" ← still No quantum computer's advantage.
↑ So this research just tried to calculate some nuclear energy based on artificially-created equations whose parameters must be calculated by a classical computer after all. ← Only a tiny, tiny part of this calculation was conducted by the fake quantum computer with only 6 qubits which always caused errors compared to the errorless ideal classical computer simulator with No quantum computer's advantage nor utility.
