Quantum computer is useless
(Fig.1) Quantum computers contributed to making home greener ! is fake news.
Insider brief of this hyped news (10/2/2025) say
"Researchers in South Korea demonstrated the first continuous-variable, quantum-enhanced reinforcement learning system for residential HVAC (= residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning ) and home power management, "
"( Quantum computers ) reduce energy consumption and costs by over 60% compared with classical methods" ← fake news
↑ This research paper (= this-last-link ) ↓
↑ This-middle-4. Case study's 3rd-paragraph says
"In light of the current limitations of QC (= quantum computer ) hardware (.. noise, and limited scalability), the quantum components of the algorithm were executed on a simulation environment rather than on physical quantum hardware."
"..Specifically, the IBM Qiskit Aer simulator was employed via the PennyLane library (= classical computers, this-9th-paragraph ) to emulate the continuous variable quantum circuits."
↑ So this research used only classical computers (= superior ) disguised as "quantum simulators" instead of today's useless error-prone quantum computers.
As a result, the above news such as "quantum computers can make homes smarter and greener" is completely fake.
