"Today I'm outlining our work plan for this coalition government's first 100 days in office. It is ambitious, but it is necessary in order to bring about the relief to New Zealanders, who have been doing it tough for way too long."
Luxon's "100 Day Action Plan" says the government will repeal a ban on selling tobacco products to anyone born in 2009 or later. It was the first such law in the world.
Another aim is to ban the use of mobile phones in schools and require primary and intermediate schools to teach reading, writing, and mathematics for one hour per day.
