Oil prices in New York hit a seven-year high overnight, on the back of growing demand as economies around the world recover from a pandemic slump.
- ニューヨークの石油価格は、世界中の経済が（新型コロナウイルスの）感染拡大による落ち込みから回復するにつれて需要が高まったことを背景に、（日本が）夜のうちに７年ぶりの高値をつけました。
The WTI crude oil futures topped 82 dollars per barrel at one point on Monday, marking their highest level since October 2014.
- ＷＴＩ原油の先物価格が月曜日のある時点で１バレル＝８２ドルを超え、２０１４年１０月以来の最高水準を記録しました。
But output has been slow to bounce back, after taking a dive due to the global spread of the coronavirus.

Major oil-producing countries have decided not to increase their output in November. U.S. oil production has also been disrupted by hurricane damage.
